Some guys have made pretty good power with it, low lift should be easy on the springs. Didn't you just install your current cam, why the change? I thought it was running good.

that is the GM ASA spec cam. 226/236 525/525 110LSA

Works best between 2500-6500 rpms

can produce tq/hp 376/357 with PP LS6 heads. Good cam for TQ

Question is what do you want to do with you car?? Talk to a tuner and let them suggest a cam & head combo.

It is running good but I just wonder about how reliable it will be with this cam.

Lots of guys running bigger cams than you, reliability should be fine just maintain your springs properly. The Comps should go at least 15K miles before they need to be changed.

I have a set of duals but just haven't put them on yet. From what I read is that my 918s should be just fine but then the guy at Comp says that they would be near the limit. But then on all the specs for the cam the 918 is reccommended. Hey vettenuts, you seem like you know alot about this type thing and you have been following up on my post about the broken 918s, what would you do? just run the 918s or install my duals?
