Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! The BCM (Body Control Module) is located in the passengers foot well and controls all of the Body Functions (lights, FOBs, and is the traffic cop for most of the other C5 module operations. It is located in the passengers foot well. Its the big silver shiny box next to the fuse box:
The Electronic Brake Traction Control Module controls braking and active handling (if equipped) and is located in one of two places. In the read on the back of the diff if you have a 97-early 98.
If you have a late 98 -2004, the EBTCM is located in front of the engine on the drivers side:
Module removed from the Brake pressure modulator valve BPMV:

Cal
If I were you I would contact GM Customer Assistance and see if they will do anything for you. GM has realized that the EBTCM's are becoming an issue and are becoming better supportive resolving issues! Even after the warranty period has passed.
How long ago was the warranty repair??
