I already posted that with this DTC, the PCM may not allow the engine to start. It does this by not firing the fuel injectors and/or the coils. You either have a wiring problem (most likely) or a bad TAC. You need to look into the areas where you may have disturbed the wiring.
Check that fuse #17 in the engine fuse block is good
Check any and all connectors that you took apart. Look for bent pins, bad contacts, whatever. This problem is most likely a wiring issue .... the service manual indicates that after checking all wiring, the only possible solutions are to replace the TAC and then the PCM. Those are "expensive" solutions that you will need a dealer (or someone with a Tech2) to perform.
The battery could also be bad. Pull it out and check under it for signs of battery leakage on the wiring. At this point the Tac & Pcm are visible under the battery tray. You didnt say if codes were C or H , if they were History they may not have anything to do with it.
If the car ran prior to this perhaps you disturbed an already poor ground or connection. Another suspect area to check is the harness at the firewall driver side at valve cover.Sometimes cuts through on the angle bracket rear of fuel rail.
Could it be grease on your key pellet ?
Good luck with it.
LOSS OF COMMS means that a module is not communicating on the serial buss. If it is being shorted to ground,,,none of the other modules will respond either. The most common cause of this issue is a shorted door cable connector. Ther could be other issues that can cause a morule issue. Like a blown fuse, bad ground, etc:
Hhere is the door connector that is a known issue!!
You have another wiring problem .... the PCM and EBCM are not communicating properly. The PCM set this code because it is not receiving the "requested torque" message from the Traction Control function of the EBCM.
