I had been playing with my injectors (looking for a minor tap noise) and set a code. The manual said 40 run cycles to clear.
I went thru Patches' drive cycle twice (on the George Bush Tollway) and the Readiness tests passed, and I got my inspection done.
Give it a try.
1. is EVAP which is your evaporative emissions system, basically it takes care of your fuel vapors in your tank.
2. Is probably your secondary air injection? guess which is your air pump that connects to your exhaust manifolds to pump air to help the cats light off..
I wonder why your throwing a lean code for one bank...
Good Luck

Won't help with solving your code problem, but I get inspections done every year in West Texas and they have never checked my exhaust or codes once (nothing to check them with) - I just go to a neighborhood oil quick-change place - always out in 10 minutes?

Guys:
I finally got a chance to go to LG's to get this figured out. Sean hooked me up and I should not get the lean codes anymore. Thanks Sean !
Sean verified that I had 3 "NOT READY" codes (same as report said).
I am now going to follow "PATCHES" GM OBD-II driving cycle procedure in the AM down 78HW (Thanks Patches!). I will then go back to LG's and see if my codes have cleared. If they do then I will go to the dealership and get my safety inspection done.

Guys:
I passed !
Well Patches driving plan seemed to work (I did it 2x times). It cleared the 2nd system "NOT READY" to "READY". I sill have Not ready for my catalyst, and EVAP. I hope they clear as I drive the car more. Sean at LG's says more Drive cycles shoudl clear it.
It turns out that "Vette-Red" was correct... Your allowed 2x Not Ready's in TX. 3 and you fail.

I don't know. My catalist still says "not ready". I have Random High flow cats with the LG Pro Long Tube headers. Sean says more driving cycles should clear it.
It may never go to "ready" if you hollow them out... Not sure though.

Inspection requirements are different in the counties with the major metropolitan areas. If I lived just 5 miles south, I'd be in Hays county instead of Travis county (Austin), and annual inspection wouldn't be as involved.
What exactly is a "cycle"? Do we have to do all those steps to complete one cycle? or is it not as involved is that? I keep seeing cycles and I believe it would suck to have to do that 50 times. Someone please clarify for me.

Old thread, I know......so has anyone passed TX inspection with LG's LT headers and off-road X-pipe? I guess the tests depend on which county you are in.

Yes, you should be able to pass.
As long as you have no check engine light on, the rear 02 sensors have been correctly tuned out, you haven't recently disconnected the battery, or had to reset a code, it should pass the OBDII test.

I have cats with my LG Pro's (rear O2's tuned out). I have never had an issues. They never even look under the car to see if the cats are there. I just run over to my local Quick Lube place to have it done.
Mine passes every time now, that I know what causes the problem (and I still haven't gotten around to getting a tune done). I had 3 not readys but you can only have 2 and pass. The cats will never read ready unless they are tuned out like Toque did and make sure you have driven it if the battery has been disconnected. Like Y2k said, if you have the backs tuned out since you have no cats you'll be ok unless the tech gets pissy and looks under the car; I went with cats so I would never have to worry about that exact thing and at a cost of 5hp, I dont see why anyone would go thru the hassle of not running cats.
I've passed twice with no cats (gutted) and long tubes and going for a third in the next couple weeks. My car still throws a p0420 and p0430 now and then which I have to reset to turn off the CEL-then I have to make it all the way through the drive cycles and haul *** for the inspection station before the codes return. I think a better tune could help me.
