Default Tire Pressure Sensor

I have one sensor that is bad and it is my right rear tire. Is there anyway I can disable this sensor without repairing it. I still have about a years worth of tread left but if there is no way to disable I have no problem replacing it if needed.

Thanks for your help in advance

If you still have run flats on the car without the monitoring of the tire sensor you will not know when you have a flat and leave yourself open to a dangerous tire failure. My suggestion is to make the Gene Culley hookup and bring the system back to full function. I would want the system to operate even if I had non run flats on the car if for no other reason that it's in the car and functioning at 75% now.
