hi i am looking for info on what cam to use for my 98. i am doing headers and i will also continue to be spraying a 150 wet shot. car is a daily driver, any input would be appreciated
thanks for the advice guys, is there any particular brand you would reccomend. as of right now i was thinking comp. and what kind of power did you guys pick up?
(fearless) yes the cam is a good investment, with headers you can get a good amount of horsepower for the money.
I have a 2000 model, bone stock with a 6 speed. Would a cam be a wise investment for my car and what kind??
I certainly hope so; I did it on my 1999, and I'm basing my retirement on it!
If you do consider a cam, go spend a couple of months reading and learning before deciding which way to go. You'll most likely regret it if you just ask people what cam to get. Your choice will not only affect peak power, but where the power is (rpm range), idle, driveability, lope, etc. It's a highly personal decision IMO.

Couldn't agree more. I made my selection based on where I wanted the power, the drivability so my wife would still be able/want to drive it, emissions, etc. etc. etc. There is a tech article on Popular Hotrodding's web site called "Be the Cam Expert" written by David Vizard, this makes a very good primer to help you select the parameters.
