Electrical Problem!!! For 5 Mins.......
Column lock would not affect those systems and the anti-theft system will keep the car from starting at all.

Is it the original? if so, maybe time for a new one. Might also be worth checking that you don't have any leaks around the terminals.

One of the most probable causes of this issue is the wiring harnesses for one or both doors!
This is KNOWN issues on the door control harness connectors. One or more of the wires have exposed metal wiring protruding out of the connector. (The insulation pulls out of the connector). The one wire that does it most frequently is the wire for the serial data to and from the door control modules. Shorted serial data buss in one module can and will affect other modules and module functions! It's an easy check. Just pop the rubber accordion tube off the door frame and the door, pull the door connectors out of the body cavity and inspect the connectors.
I had the same problem once when I was on a business trip 200 miles from home!
Dash went crazy, car WOULD NOT START and the windows would not function. (Luckily for me, I knew I had a problem with the door module wiring harnesses and I knew that if I shook the drivers accordion tube, the door control module issue would be temporarily resolved) This time it didn't and I pulled the harness out and PRESTO, there were exposed wires! Fixed the issue and have NOT had ANY more issues. So,,,thats a place to start and it FREE!
The repair is also FREE!Give that a try!

Believe it or not,,thats the classic COLUMN LOCK issue symptoms.
