I used a small rectangular piece of plastic that bridged the crack and glued to that. Worked great.

Lame break: Plastic Shift boot ring
Talk about lame!!! The plastic ring the shift boot connects to just broke, any ideas on how to repair it? It's broken down one side so it's more like a C than a ring. Super glue? Staple?

I used a small piece of polyethelene (flexible) type plastic with a couple pop rivets. Drill the holes, use some epoxy for a little extra strength and pop rivet it. Worked great.
