Try a search. Been covered in literally hundreds of threads and polls. The opinions seem to be split on Mobil 1 (Classic, not the new extended which is not vette approved,) Amsoil, and Royal Purple.
AMSOIL! I use it in just about all my toys! Especially the trans fluid. But there are many good choices out there.. as long as it's a good brand name synthetic that meets the requirements, and you change it when needed, you should be fine.. oils have improved over the years..

Mobile 1 10W-30, But not real sure I'm going to stay. 2002 Pontiac Firehalk LS1, bought it new, slight piston slap cold at purchase, at 2,500 miles very noticeable cold, car was never run hard cold. bored block, new pistons (Thanks GM) supercharged car, 6,500 miles and probably four oil changes later, piston slap coming back. 2003 LS6, bought car 500 miles ago, Run hard approx. 5 miles since purchase. Very slight piston noise at purchase cold. I Think It's Getting Louder!
