Not even close in design or materials actually. Roller is different material, Morel is open design, internal tolerances are different, steel is different and bearings are different. Morels are also a lot taller.

I got 30K miles on the OEM LS6 lifters after G5x3 Cam. Installed the Morels and got 55K. My mechanic said the big cam was the culprit. Just installed the Cadillac Racing lifters. I hope for additional longevity.

What do you mean "got xxx miles" -- how did you know they failed?

I used the Comp 850's as a replacement for my oem's in my h/c setup. They were ok, but when all was said and done, I don't think they were any better than the oem's. One thing I did notice about them is they were noisey. I had valvetrain tick that was louder than my freinds almost identical setup that used oem lifters. His are still quiet. My cam was the one in my sig.

I am now using the Caddy lifters in my 403. I got them from SDPC. The current cam is a 242/242 .610"/.610" and they are quiet. So far, 70 miles on them and no problems.
