Ok, I believe this calculator is saying that to get to the 60 ft mark in 1.38 seconds you have to average 1.97 Gs (notice I DIDN'T say run a constant 1.97 Gs.) I believe it is also saying that if you average 1.97 Gs for 1.38 seconds that you will be traveling 59.29 MPH at that point.
Are you familiar with a G-Tech (I know, it's not the most accurate piece of equipment in the world but the theory is sound.) It tells you your 1/4 ET and your trap speed based solely on the measurement of G-forces. It does this based on the idea that a certain average G-force over a certain amount of time equals a certain velocity and a certain distance traveled.

If you want to get real fancy you can stick a suction cup on your side window, attach a string and a weight, and have a passenger or video camera record the angle from zero to calcuate G's
Whats the matter you guys, you cant believe a Mustang could do 0 to 60 mph in 1.9..... Car & Driver tested that Boss Mustang at 1.9 period. The car was a one off custom factory car, but it ran 1.9.

Frank you are 100% correct. It was the 94/95 one off Boss 429 Mustang. One bad Mo Fo! It ran 1.9 to 60mph. I agree there is a anti Mustang sentiment on this forum sometimess!
It doesn't have to be a top fuel dragster. Like I said before, my 0-60 is less than 1.4. Yes, it's a 9 second car but it's not a top fuel dragster!
