Halltech Venom Reviews?

If so what are your thoughts? Good or bad?
I'm thinking of taking the plunge

Looking to do headers xpipe and 410 rear soon.. 01 pwtr mn6
and he informed me of the new filters higher standard ISO rating for filtration. Also discussed the maf location, velocity area of the new Venom. Well, to tell you the truth it does make a difference. Throttle response was better, but when you really see the difference is higher in the rpms. I moved the maf and also clocked the maf blade inline with the throttle plate. I have had the cold air cutout since the stinger.
From 2500 and up you can tell the engine is really breathing.
Dont cut yourself short..............take the plunge.
oh.........and it looks good too!
screen it and install a "scoop" on the bottom side over the cutout
to serve as a direct shot to the filter. I believe that it was Dave68's
idea a few years back. It works great, but for a daily driver you need
to watch your filter cleaning more due to the fact that everything
dirty hits it.
Take the plunge!!!

Take the plunge!!!
We actually have four mules on the road, that have clocked over 25,000 trouble free miles with the Venom. Only one has our tuning, the others are bone stock.
One complaint about the Stinger was the filter dangling off the end of the MAF. We eliminated this issue with the 2" longer nose, which positions the filter directly up against the front frame, to avoid any of the former issues. All Halltech Filters are now ISO 5011 Certified. Over 99.4% efficiency rated. Here is some additional information on this certification: http://www.halltechsystems.com/category_s/43.htm
We also relocated the MAF to the rear, exactly like the C6 Venom, which has been on the market for over two years. Testing shows a slightly better meter reading at the rear, and I like clocking idea of lining up the airfoil in the MAF with the throttle plate. We did this on all of our installs, but felt it might be too complicated to include in our instructions.
We have tried to make this system as easy as possible to install. I agree that the stock airbox is a son of a gun the first time. The front rubber grommets literally pop off the frame, and can be pushed off by hand or pried off easily.
Bee careful with opening up the shroud for cold air. It works, but can expose you to water issues. Water as in self cleaning and sending dirt and mud into the engine when it rains.
This is why we do not make a bottom breather.
If you disconnect the negative side of the battery during installation, and then reconnect it, be sure to allow the engine to warm up to 175, then idle for 5 minutes to allow the throttle blade to reposition zero. The is known as the idle learn procedure.
