Default Lumbar controls issue - tech help?

I tried to find a thread on this, but I did not see one with this particular issue. I also posted this in the General Section and got zero replies. Please comment if you can.

The lumbar controls normaly inflate and deflate when the buttons are pressed with the sound of the compressor operating. The compressor sound also is heard when deflating the bladders and apparently forces the air out. Trouble is, the inflate buttons work fine, but when deflating, nothing happens. No compressor noise or deflating. If I press on the bladders, while holding the button in the deflate direction, the bladders will deflate.

I am electronically capable so I imagine a relay is not working or an wire is disconnected or broken. I have taken the seat loose enough to see everything under the seat, but can not locate the problem.

Does anyone have a schematic or interconnection diagram or any knowledge on the subject I can use to track down the problem.

Thanks for any help you can provide

Have to say thats a new problem. I've heard plenty where the motor quits or the bladders/pipework leak. To have the problem on just deflation is a new issue to me. From a quick look it would seem that the snag has to be within the seat pump. Is fuse #3 good, although that seems to control both inflation and deflation?

Heres the schematic. BTW, I managed to chop off the ground. It grounds at G205. Post up and let us know how it goes.

I was also having lumbar support issues on my 2000. The motor was running with no results. After pulling seat and pump ive discovered the motor/pump itself is bad. A new one at GM is $485. Anyone know where else to look for one? Used is fine with me. Thanks
