Comp Cam in!
Got the cam in on my 01 Coupe (has LS6 in it). 420 rwhp and 398 rwtq!!Went with Comp Cam 228/232/113 0.588/0.591 WOW, what a difference! WAY MORE pull through out the ENTIRE RPM band! I gained 43 rwhp and 34 rwt at peak. However, thats not the best news. At 3,500 rpms I gained 45 rwtq. At 6,500 rpms I gained 55 rwhp! Mikey at Rapid Motorsports knows what he is doing (and at a GREAT price)!

That must be an old Comp Cam because it is not in their catalogue. Could you give me the Comp number for that cam such as XR281HR which is close to yours but is only 571/571 on 112.

Yes Mike is an excellent craftsman indeed!!!! Great price too!!! Total package was about 40% less than what I was quoted from some of the big name shops on here..........he is a fantastic tuner too.
Not sure what the part # is? I'd have to ask him since he ordered it all. I wouldn't think it is old though since he just ordered it? Maybe its a custom grind? After thoroughly speaking with him about various cam specs and what it would do to my car I settled in on this one. It gave me exactly what I wanted........

What's next?
You will look at my sig below and see I went the same way (Smaller cam) but eventually went with more and slapped on a ProCharger!
It will never stop!
