Default Check engine light question, please help!

Ok, here is my story. I have a 2000 C5 coupe 50,000mi. I have gratenlli cat back exhaust, c6 shifter, blackwing intake, drilled slotted rotors. This past weekend I put on ZO6 sways, shocks, and leafs on the car, and drove it home and works great. Monday I start it up and take it to work. Runs great. Take it lunch, no problems, Leaving lunch I start the car and the check engine light suddenly goes on. Car still drives perfect. The only electric thing I unplugged during the install of that was the front right ABS sensor plug, which I put back in properly. Any ideas of what could be causing this? If you need more info I will be happy to comply.

Check your codes. Codes whith an H are old codes you can cancel those. Also do a search for a code list, then you can I D your problem code "s". It's probably nothing. Good luck.

To assist you in ID'ing the codes that are History (H) or Current (C)...
http://www.corvettedoctor.com/Code_Main.html

It could be as simple as your oil life monitor % showing a need to change oil...or, maybe you changed oil and didn't zero the oil life monitor...or, you filled up with fuel and didn't tighten the gas cap...or, filled up with fuel and over filled the tank.

With the blackwing your could be running at the edge of the PCM's adjustment capability.
If you filled up and got a tank of higher ethanol content, you might throw some running lean codes...

Check the codes and post them...

PLEASE read and post your DTCs. If there are tons of DTCs,,,,clear ALL of them and take the car for a drive and see if any return.

If they do come back, post the DTCs. Thats the ONLY way were going to be able to help you out!
