Default The best oil filter

What is the best oil filter available? Mobile1? I'm looking for something that traps particles down to the single digit micron level...if such a thing exists.

IF you want the BEST filtration, add a bypass filter.

Just keep in mind that the smaller the particles the filter will catch, the more restricted it is, and can lower your oil pressure downstream.
I think WIX is as good as you can get, and they are not expensive like the Mobil 1 or UPF44 filters.

How do all these filters compare to mobil1 filters? I'm not worried about the price I just want the best protection. And I doubt Fram is giving me that.

I've had 6 trucks with over 175,000 miles, no oil usage, no leaks, running great, all with most of their life on Mobil 1 oil and FRAM Extra guard filters.
I use Mobil 1 filters on all my Premium cars, Corvettes, TBSS, ect. cause they are built very well inside, much better than standard AC/Delco, or Fram standard.

To get to the single digit micron level, you'll need a bypass filter setup, which I'm not sure I'd use on a Corvette. Next best thing may be the AMSOIL Ea Oil Filter

LS1/LS6 part number: EAO32
