Thanks! Cant wait to fire this thing up in a day or so! Assuming everything is installed correctly it should start and the first turn of the key...right?

Heres a FUNNY FRIDAY STORY!

Today,, I had some free time during lunch and I pulled up the forum and saw this post. Cool,,,Novakain1970 is doing the same project that I'm doing. I reading down the post and saw BLOWNBLUEZ06 post.

Holy Crap! I was sitting there at work with KNOTS on my stomach! I thought I was going to puke I couldn't for the life of me remember if I checked that or not. I was ready to just shut down and go home and check! I figured that I would visit Murphy and his school of laws and it would be in BSS ACKWARDS!

All day I stressed over it. I already started doing the un-install in my head.

Well,,,I got home and ran right to the car and checked! Dam-it, its in there DEEEEEEEP So I viewed it from under the car and WHEW! All is good in HP TOWN!

SO,,,,,, BLOWNBLUEZ06 ,,,,,,THANK YOU very much for that very excellent info!

Hehe I was worried about it too...same knots in my stomach. I had already installed the puller and the rack. I see that the gasket could go on flipped but its pretty difficuly to screw it up. I remember that I put the gasket on the timing cover first to make sure it lined up with the appropriate curves of the timing cover.

Yea,,,,but there are times when those shops have issues also! Nope, for all the grease, little issues, and set backs, I still get tremendous satisfaction doing it all myself.

We did a cam install project once on ENGLANDGREENS car when he lived in CT. There were 4 of of turning wrenches and throwing parts. It went together pretty darn quick and we were very successful. Did it over a weekend.
