Default Doing the HVAC mod fix heater?

I going to do the HVAC resistor mod to fix the display, will this also fix the fact that my vents don't switch or the fact that I can't get heat?

The vents are controlled by vacuum BUT If your control head isnt working electrically and sending signals to the vacuum control switch, theres your issue. Make sure that theres a vacuum signal on the purple hose going to the vacuum control switch mounted on the outboard side of the AIR BOX in the passengers foot well.

Yep no vacuum at the purple hose. Now to find where the breakdown is. Got to find where the line connection is on the motor and work forward. The lights are now bright. Is it normal for the air cond. to alway be on when I start th car? No matter where I set the temp it is on.

The Vaccum line well that just is a pain in the butt because i believe it is the vaccum line that is plugged into the BACK of the intake manifold and as far as I know the only way to fix that is the remove the intake and hook it back up unless once again someone else wants to chime in and correct me.

I am no expert but i believe if you have Memory option if the AC was on when you set your memory then when you start the car the memory settings takes affect but maybe someone with more/better knowledge can chime in.

My heat doesn't work only on the passenger side. I'm glad summer is almost here. That'll fix it.

I think the resistors are part of the display and should not affect the operation of the controller.

Some of the earlier models had battery leak issues, it would melt the plastic vacumn hose that runs from the back of the intake under the battery to a cannister behind the computor. It's the vacumn supply line for the controls. Guess how I know.
