Yes, you can either order it with the threaded top or it can be ordered to fit the factory C6 **** as well.

I like mine as well, use the stock boot and you do not cut the rubber insulator.

I've had my MGW installed about three months now. I bought mine when you had a choice of 25% OR 30% shorter shifts. I bought the 25% reduced on the recommendations of several forum members. Love it.

Now I believe the only choice is 30%. Could be wrong there.

I believe you also can get that from MGW at an additional cost.

Will do. My buddy has one in his C6 and it felt awesome so I'm expecting the same haha

Taking the car to Pocono this weekend for a HPDE with stock everything, the shifter should be a nice addition for the next track day at WGI

Does the stock c5 **** fit and does the mgw have some sort of springs or guides side to side? My original c5 is so sloppy side to side that I don't know what gear i'm in much of the time.

I got to hold Chris's stick yesterday, it really does have a nice feel. Makes my C6Z shifter feel like it's out of an Acura Integra

The stock C5 M6 shift know will work on the MGW for the C5.

I installed the MGW shifter and race **** this weekend. The shifts are very precise and short, with the short shaft rear offset a nice feature. It's much stiffer than the stock shifter in the side-to-side direction, but not as stiff as a Hurst with the lightest springs.

The MGW Race **** is a very nice addition to the shifter. It's larger than the older MGW Gripper that I had on the stock shifter and offers a better grip for people with larger hands.

After reading everything on shifters on this forum, I just ordered my MGW with the pistol grip. It won't ship until next week, but I can't wait to get it! This forum makes "throwing money at a mod" a non-issue.

never owned a Kirban but have driven them. I like the MGW better. Its about the best shifter as fas as smoothness, short throw goes. I had mine out for awhile on Sunday and just really love it.
