Default hub-centric spacers.

1" hub-centric spacers?
I was on C5 gen and couln't find an answer. I have a C5 1998 with new Firestone runflats 19" rear and 18" rear. My tire guy anvised me that these are not the way to go. He didn't know that I was going to try to hit top speed.I cannot find these 1" spacers anyplace. does anybody have information as to where I may obtain the spacers that are 1" and are hub-centrisc? I'm told these are not hub- centric, thus not the way to go.

if you go with anything larger than 1/4" you do not want to use a spacer

you want to use a wheel adapters that has longer studs on them.

why do you want 1" ? You can get 1/4" from ccw wheels

Or you could get the wheels with the proper offset. 1" spacer is too large,

I decided to SH-t can the whole idea, it just aint worth it.
I drive the car around 3,500 a year; it's stored in the winter and not even driven in the rain. Black is way to easy to scratch with road grime and it's just a toy that I drive when I feel like it. I have hit low 3 digit speeds maybe 2x for about 1 second since I have owned the car. I'm going to leave the spacers shown in the link at the top.
I think I should be OK with what I've already got. I went with 1" to bring the tire out exactly even with the top of the wheel well, strictly for appearance.

With out longer studs you risk having the lugnuts come off if you only have 2 or 3 turns of the nut

PM me if interested, but I do have some nice 1" hubcentric/lugcentric spacers and longer studs I am looking to sell. These were used safely on a roadrace z06.
