Overall, it's a quality made piece. Supposedly, you can do road courses with them too.
I cannot tell you whether my braking from 60-0 went down, b/c I didn't measure it.
The reason I chose them is because I wanted something aftermarket that was better than Delco. They're cadmium coated to prevent rust, cryogen tempered to handle heat and resist warping and slotted not drilled. This provides more brake surface than drilled & drilled/slotted and won't crack like the drilled ones are prone to.
I think you'll be happy...I got mine from tirerack.com

I picked up all 4 slotted and drilled rotors and ceramic pads shipped to my house the next day for $229. and $18. to ship. Mines a daily driver.
My friend has them on his firebird and BMW for a year and they are perfect. Mine seem to work good. Why pay more?
I have had mine for more than a couple of years and I couldn't be happier with them. Once in a while a group of us locals go on "mountain runs" which involve very spirited driving. My Cryo PowerSlots not only keeps the pads fresh for like-new stopping after years of use, but they also never rust (cadmium plated), so they continue to look great.
I ran them on my police car (Z28). They did better than the Brembo slots I had on previously. I was running Hawk HP+ pads. They were abused and I got~4800 milers per set of rotors and 2 sets of pads. They are a nice upgrade over stock and handle a lot of heat. I wouldn't put them in the same class as a set of big money racing brakes, but a nice street upgrade. They would last a lot longer on a car that wasn't abused like my police car, and it's what I'll be putting on my vette when the time comes to replace the pads and rotors.
