Then why are you on here lying? Just man up and admit you're wrong. And i'm sure you meant you COULDN'T care less. If you COULD care less that means you do care and therefore could care less. If you COULDN'T care less, that means that you care so little that there is no less that you COULD care. Not very well educated are ya?

they are a knock off of a good brand, only problem is that you have to make lots of mods to be able to fit them, my recomendation is to stay away from them.

Oh that sucks. What problems did you have from the current OBX headers?

No, I'm honestly interested. I plan as of now to get them. I want all the info I can get. It's just cockinthebutt gay that people with no experience say they suck, and try to dissuade people from buying when there is no reason.

Let's be clear: I can put new mounting tabs on or fix a weld. That's nothing compared to saving $800. I have built my own engine and shoehorned a 4L80e into an F-body (lots of BFH and a little fabbing). So stupid little stuff is just irrelevant. I'm hetero. I fix the little problems. Not pay extra to avoid them. I wouldn't consider myself a man if I paid extra to avoid such little things.

I just recieved my set and they are going on my built 383 on Tues. They will be coupled with corsa pace exhaust. I'll post results and videos hopefully by fri. I don't know of anyone else to put them on built motors though. We'll have to wait and see....other than that. the build quality is actually pretty good, and you get quiite a bit of parts for the money.....I have always been an advocate of "you get what you pay for" however I have a few good friends running obx/FLP headers and NO issues so with that in mind I tried to save some money for my build. Hope I don't regret it

Read this post... Very entertaining..just a couple comments, I speak from experience 40 years own shop too many hi perf. builds/race cars to count, this is kinda funny fitment problems the cheapest headers always fit the best ,why?they are not equal length tuned headers every car is made with plus and minus tolerences so are the headers so when a certain car these tolerences stack you can have some significent fitment probs. thats why some exp. probs and some don't just because they cost less does not mean junk. If I were building a car right now would I try them, yes, the $$ saved is quite significent my concern would be are they good stainless. One post stated that corvette guys (some)will pay more as they feel they're getting a better product this has a ring of truth to some extent, when I first started my business I cut my labor rate so much in fact that some actually thought I wasn't doing the work that I was paid to do ,truth was i got a super deal on rent for my shop as this building had been vacant quite some time so I raised my labor rate and all was good ,go figure. If you're one of the first trying a knockoff/cheaper product you're taking a chance and by posting the results are commendable as we can take advantage of a product without the risk and for that reason we should be thankful to those willing to take the chance if you have first hand experience with a product good or bad post it. Try to leave the passion out of it like Jack Friday from the old TV show used to say "Just The Facts,"

Default Facts...

All,

I will just add some notes from my experience to this conversation.

I have had the OBX headers/crosspipe on my C5 Z for a few months. The installation was actually EASIER than installing LG headers on a friends car. That's right, easier. All I had to do was drop the oil filter, common with most header installs due to the bolt flange, and loosen the motor mounts. I raised the engine up about 3/4" and the headers literally fell into place. Threw in the gaskets and bolts...done.

Total install time couldn't have been more than 2.5 hours, with 2 beer breaks. I did all the work in my driveway, car on 4 jack stands, nothing special. I worked on the car much longer than that because I ended up doing the ignition packs, plugs, wires, etc. at the same time.

However, I am not promoting them or suggesting them to anybody. Just want you all to see some positive feedback from a guy who actually has them installed. Headers typically have problems, and as Ripper said above, sometimes they are easy, sometimes they are a pain.

I wish you all luck in this choice...but I myself would buy them again and again.

True long tubes versus mid lengths, plain as an unbiased eye can see! That and I had em put two AIR flanges on the Passenger side to cover all years... Of course I could be lying and photochopped the pic...

Didn't I offer you a set to try and you declined??????????
