Each turn on the bolt is 1.25mm or 0.049" (your number). However, because you are tightening at the fulcrum of the rocker, you must account for the pushrod movement through the rocker ratio using parallel triangles (movement at the fulcrum is magnified at the rocker). Thus, each turn is multiplied by (2.7/1.7) or approximately 1.59. This is because once the lifter bleeds, the valve spring won't move it is the lifter plunger that must move. So the net affect is each turn of the rocker bolt is approximately 0.078". Since you have almost two turns on the rocker bolt, you are likely running a very large preload and it should be checked using an adjustable pushrod.

I agree with Vettenuts. It seems that after I installed the Fast. The noise got worse. I own a 66 Shelby. If I had the same nosie in the Shelby I sure would be adjusting the lifters. It has solid lifters too.

Being from the old school. The nosie usally means something is wrong. LOL

welcome to the world of extreme dual springs and High ramp rates. What did you expect?

Get used to it, because youll never get it to go away without going back to a stock like cam.

Yep, my valve train is particularly noisy when it is cold and the engine is cold. I put it out of my mind and drive as is runs great.

OMG I never thought of that. I'm ashamed. I'm going to order new PR's right now.

Mine is loud also, I hate how it sounds. I have done everything to try and quiet the valvetrain and nothing works. I hear there a two things that will help, a loud radio and super loud exhaust. I may have to check in to that.
