Re: ATI Supercharger first test done!!! (Austrian Vette)
Michael,
I'm not sure to many tuners know this Kit well enough to answer all your questions right away, and I understand perfectly your concern.
But I'm sure after a few months we all will know 100 times more about the kit.
I'm not any expert, but on my car with only a few "breathing" mods, we did not have to change anything on the fuel system except the 38# injectors who was included the package (The most complete package I have ever seen!).
Since I'm will be driving kind of an R&D car, I will keep posting all my experience with the kit good or bad.
But I can say this for sure already, this kit "Kick AS" :reddevil
HeliPilot:
You are right, I had tears in my eyes (I think you was close to..LOL), I was celebrating last night.
I ordered this kit early, and I have bean waiting and waiting, and width no real number out there, it was kind of a gamble.
But many has gambled before me, and I'm sure I have benefits from it.
And I will do my best to let other be part of mine experience here.
At least I will take local ppl. out for a spin when they want to "feel" it.
I have also offered my car to Ernie for a "Reference" car, in case it's needed.
I believe Ernie will take my vert. to the NCRS Show in Orlando Jan 25 to 27, he will have his dyno there to.
Again,
Thanks to everyone here in this Forum who has supported me all the way!
 Well I'm just speachless! Man Those are some great #'s :yesnod: Did you take a picture of the kit as it loked before you installed it? And hurry up and get the installed pics up :smash: We all want to see it!
Richard.....I hope you don't mind , but I did some digging and found the first series of pics. I'm posting the link here so other can see it. I hope you don't mind. :) Richards ATI Installation Pics

:) Thanks
I took a few pictures the first day, but this is only from they did check the parts and fittings.
At Tuesday I will take new pictures of the complete install with headers, new wheels, etc.
Mabye Ernie at BPP has taken some more picture.
Check BPP's web page regulary for updates: http://www.breathlessperformance.com
Re: ATI Supercharger first test done!!! (eikeland)
Richard,Good luck with the new power. If you ever want to dyno it on a Dynojet dyno let me know.I'm good friends with the owner of a shop in Pompano Beach.I would like to see what kind of numbers it gets on a dynojet. When my car was a stock engine no heads,no cam, with headers,pulley,vortex,x-pipe it dynoed 370 RWHP 382 RWTQ on a Mustang dyno which is unheard of for a stock 346,the Mustang dyno tends to be a bit high, the funny thing is my car peaked at 5750 and 4750 just like yours and I just recently saw another dyno sheet from Breathless and that car peaked at the exact same rpm's.That HP curve falls flat on its face within a few hundred rpm after 5750,did they let off the throttle? That blower should make even more power over 6000,somethings up with that.Maybe the stock exhaust manifolds were choking it.

Oh yes I would love to test my power on a Dynojet as well, would be nice to have a performance test on both dynos.
For now it does not matter to me if the Mustang is not 100% accurate, we dynoed before and after so the big answer was how much did it gain.
I let you know when Ernie is finsh with my car, I guess I get the car back in one week.
B.T.W the end of power at 5750 RPM might be my misstake, Ernie though I did let the power go a bit to early...this might be right...I probaly was to exited...:)
Re: ATI Supercharger first test done!!! (eikeland)
Richard,You're right, you have to look at what gain you got on the same dyno,150 RWHP gain is very impressive, are upgrading the radiator?I've had supercharged cars in the past, they tend to run hotter, especially in Florida.
Re: ATI Supercharger first test done!!! (STEALTH C-5)
Yes,
I installed a huge BeCool radiator, not sure if it was nessesary, but it was much easyer to install it right away, atleast I should not have to worry about the cooling anymore.
Richard
PS! Here is a picture of my BeCool radiator and intercooler's uninstalled:
Re: ATI Supercharger first test done!!! (STEALTH C-5)
Where did you get the BE COOL and how much was it?Any idea how much the Procharger kit weighs in total with blower and intercoolers? Thanks
I did get the radiator from BPP, they have improved their shop alot.
Seams like Ernie has it all now.
Basicly BPP has deliverd everything and done all the work on my car since I bought it for two year ago (Exept a few oil changes).
for my radiator it was about 550 or 600 I don't remember exactly.
I have no idea about the weight for the kit, but must be some pounds...
I believe Erine has or get a few more kits so it should not be to hard to messure the wheight for it.
PS! Where do you live now?, I go down there somtime Monday morning.

But I have head/cam so I relly think I´ll run out of fuel.
ALso I don´t know if the programm, that comes with the package takes
care of the heads/cam/LS6intake.
