MN12 gearing trumps MN6 from a roll. I ran an 11.90 in my Z with Nitto 555R drag radials and a Vararam. Good luck

Then taking the extra wt out of the coupe, light seats are a big place, and almost 60 lbs, carpet in the coupe is 60 lbs, the ~ 40 lbs. So yes taking off 200 some lbs out of the coupe takes some money, plus labor Darn close to 10K
That is about what it took me to get to 400 rwhp and 405 or so rwtq
But yes I also like the look of a coupe over the hardtop
and I prefer the MN6 gear ratio over the MN12 ratio. except for 5th gear on the MN12
