Hello everyone! I have just had the pleasure of getting a C5 2000 corvette! Its an awesome car but the 12 disk CD changer in the trunk isn't plugged into to anything. Its a 20 pin I believe and it just hangs there... It doesn't have any place to be plugged into either, or that I can find.
Any advice? I put 9 CD's in there and now I can't get them out or to play, because it's all automatic
Help please!
Theres a long COHAR cable that runs from the passengers foot well, along the door sill and into the rear hatch well area. It has two connectors on each end. Look to see if you have the cable. If not it can be purchased on line.
There are TWO connections in the passengers foot well. Ones very small.
These are where the cable connects to in the foot well.
Can u tell me how to hookup a 12 disc cd to a 2003 ZO6 with the single wire that in the footwell?
There are TWO connections!!! Believe me. The second one is small and taped to the harness and difficult to see... Been there! Look for a bulge in the tape. That should be the connector.
Do you own a C5? Where would you put a CD changer behind the seat..?
Yes, I own a C5... There's PLENTY of room behind the stock passenger seat mounted vertically of course... I don't know why, but that's where I always thought it would be... The trunk is more secure I guess. Oh well...

here's an animated GIF I made. It's near that red spot underneath the carpet:
