Well you just lit the match and dropped it into the gas soaked brush pile!! There are two distinct camps here on the forum,,***** to the wall performance at any cost catless group,,and the be responsible and keep the cats ,you only gain 5 hp and your car will stink group!! First consideration what type,if any emissions test do you have? The common statement made here is you only gain about 5 hp without cats,,and performance magazines have done builds with headers and high flow cats and made killer numbers.Personal opinion,, I'd run cats! But the ultimate decision is up to you. Only you know what your goals are,,and how you feel about your part of the the environment. True 1 car in the grand scheme of things,,,then again when hundreds or thousands start thinking that way.... Bottom line it's up to you!! There will be dozens here that will support your decision either way!!!

Really not enough value to run catless. Unless you're looking for all out noise, but you can get that from a good set of Bullets.

Ive seen COUNTLESS post where someone was absoluty bound and head set on running without cats and months later the same people complain about the God awful smell and want to know how to get rid of it. RUN CATs

If your that concerned, run high flow cats but for the sake of uour passengers who are going to say ( why does your car stink??) run CATS

Your NOT going to see massive HP numbers from removing cats UNLESS, your running MASSIVE Cubic Inches

Without for a few years, now building a new SS exhaust with 3" high flow cats.
Yea, I couldn't stand the smell, or the noise. I got stopped for speeding one time, I was really sweating that the cop might be able to tell that I was without.
