Do you re-use/re-install the factory rubber seal between the MAF and air duct?

Yes.

I also used a 11/16 wood drill bit to create the hole for the MAT sensor.

You would think that an expensive piece of plastic would have a MAT opening in it already!

Sorry for confusion. Not the MAT sensor rubber plug. Let me clarify. The part in question is the factory rubber seal/gasket on the intake side of the MAF....|air filter > seal > MAF > seal (this one) > duct > coupler > throttle body|

Any tips on install would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Johnny

Buckmaster - Roger that. Installed w/o the seal at this time. Yes, I noticed the notch as well. I'm just dumfounded as to why Shawn told me to re-use the seal in question. Perhaps, he misunderstood my question.

The install was tough....the new coupler gave me a very hard time. Very little space to move with Donaldson a/f set-up. Key is removing the rubber a/f housing rubber snubs/plugs when re-installing the whole deal. Can't leave them in there...and pop in the front of a/f....there is absolutely no space to lift over and pop in....Donaldson owners take note.

Patches - Absolutely trick. Very nice set up.

Thank you all again.

Johnny
