Default Cam Question ms3

I just ordered an ms3 cam from texas speed with a 112lsa and on the cam card it states it has 3 degrees advance ground in. I didnt specify any advance when i ordered the cam, Is that normal? Would i be better off with no advance ground in?

A little advance would help a bit with low end in a bigger cam. I had a fairly radical Comp Cams cam in my previous C3 that had a couple degrees advance ground in.

most cams have 4* advance ground in.

Bigger cams have more advance so they run at lower rpms.

So 3* is normal for this size cam? Im just concerned and dont want to put the wrong cam in. It didnt state anywhere that the cam was advanced and i have been told in the past to go with a 112lsa not 112+3.
Should i use the cam?
