435 is only 370 or so at the rear wheels. Easily doable for them.
I personally don't like the FRC business tho.

I just went from a C5 to a Viper ACR, and let me tell you this thing definately
turns. I am extremely loyal to the Vette and I dont buy in to that Viper vs Vette "which is better" BS. I just love cars and had to comment on your statment.

I talked to 3 dealers in the last week and they all confirmed: 03 Z06 = 435 HP.

All this horsepower "talk" makes me want to go out and drive my lowly 350 HP '02 Coupe, 3:15 rear. Which is still fast enough to get me into a lot of trouble. :yesnod: There will be a bump in Z06 HP for '03. If not, why would an '02 owner want to "trade" up. How much of a bump? Who knows, who cares? Not a fan of FRCs if it had 1,000HP.

OK, I may be going way out on a limb here, but shouldn't Z06 info be in the Z06 section? Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the Z06 but when I want to find out info on it, I simply go to that section.

..........While I think the Viper GTS's are somewhat unattractive, especially compared to the C5's beautiful lines, they do handle well. Case in point, the last Autocross I went to a friend in his 2000 GTS beat all of the Z06's (which were modified with engine and tire upgrades), and his Viper was stock........The only car that turned a better lap time was a race modified vette (not street legal)
