What is the real difference between them except for the weight difference?
Sound? Breathes better?
Or no big differene at all
Thanks
Alan
To my ears there's not a whole lot of sound difference. I would say performance difference...nada. There is a weight difference that by itself would not do much for performance. JMHO.

I found they were slightly louder (even friends commented it sounded better) and the weight difference is incredible. Now with H/C the car is very loud at WOT
had both with lt headers and no cats- very very little audible differance, however the ti's look much better and if my memory serves me right they are half the weight.
Alan, I did the swap on my 2003 coupe. The Ti is very slightly louder at idle(a little less "tinny" which was good to my ears). At full throttle there is more difference 'tho you wouldn't call it loud. Regards, Ralph Boineau in central South Carolina
I think it's kind of a fade to have TI's even I keep thinking
that I want them. But I only buy items that make more
power and no one's convincd me to buy them. Yes they
are lighter but heck if you are worried about weight go on
a diet. Sound does not make power.

Another CF member previously posted in an earlier thread the improvements over stock exhaust and are listed below:
Ti is the best bang for $400
*14% increase in exhaust flow.
*Saves 17+ pounds compared to the standard steel set-up
*Better looking tips than standard
*Will never corrode
*MUCH cheaper than most aftermarket brands (even compared to used)
Mature sound until you stomp on the loud pedal... and then again it's a "classy" scream with no interior resonance and very little (if any) popping on deceration.
My experience is with headers the sound is not too loud and no drone but I am older and that is important to me. Arvin Industries designed and constructed these for GM and there is an informative article on the subject available -- search if interested. Trust this is helpful...
