A0-LDCM = B2252 H / B2283 H / B2284 H / U1255 H / U1064 H / U1016 H / U1096 H

A1-RDCM = B2253 H / B2283 H / B2285 H / U1255 H / U1064 H / U1016 H / U1096 H

B0-RFA = U1096 H / U10164 H / U1016 H / C2100 H / C2120 H

Ok - who can tell me what is going on

Thanks
On a 1999 C5 Auto that a friend is looking to purchase, it is getting the exact same codes as in the post above. Car runs fine, the only thing I've found so far is the key FOB's are not working. There are signs that the left door panel may have been removed at one time.

Questions for the electrical experts out there, could a low or dead battery set these codes and stored in history if not cleared after new battery? Also, what is the easiest way to check if a battery leak has happen sometime on the car? Pull the battery or wheel well cover? Would it cause these type of codes?

Thanks for your input!

YES! A battery in low or poor condition will cause DTCs. NEVER be afraid of clearing DTCs and starting over. If the car isnt happy, they will be back.

Charge or replace the battery. Its best to have it fully tested if your in doubt of its condition Once the battery is reconnected, clear the DTCs and take her for a ride and see what comes back. Check the DTCs before you turn OFF the ignition after your run.

NOTE! Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery can also cause random DTCs Always clear the DTCs after a battery replacement/ reinstall.

Bill,

Thanks for your reply. It is a big help. The only other thing I'm concerned about is if a battery at one time or the other has leaked in the vehicle. The battery tray has some surface rust on the inboard front area of the tray. I'm going to try and check this out a little closer today for any damage.

Again, thanks for your help!!
