Question/help on LS6 intake install?

Ok from what I researched I was under the imperssion you needed a lift so if this can be done on jack stands then that is plus I have to think about now.

My first round of mods on my ZO6 (VARARAM and Stainless Works Headers, and a home ported TB,, I had a professional $500 tune done. It worked fine but, fuel economey still sucked. 385 rwhp was a good improvement. Had it tweeked by a tuner for $100 and fuel economey improved from 21 to 24. 
Next round and tired of paying tuners, I purchased my own EFI Live and had friends (VERY NICE FRIENDS) help me tune it. My buddy is a tuning GOD!
So,,other than the initial EFI Live cash output, the tune was FREE. 
One of my best friend is a tuner and I had him look at my tune. He fixed a Idle issue and pulled some more fuel out of WOT PE tables and adjusted the MAF tables. Heres the dyno run at Bowling Green Cruise In two years ago:

On the way back to CT from Bowling Green KY, car full of luggage, the wife and I got 27 MPG cruising at 70-75 mph!
