jacking up a c5
I want to jack my 02 just to remove one wheel at a time to clean and polish the inside of the rims. How do I safely lift and where would I place jackstands to do one wheel at a time?

The lift points are listed in the owner's manual. If you do not have one, the manual is available for download from several on-line outlets.

Get yourself some jacking pucks if you don't already have them...
Look for a hole along the rocker panel, stick her in and twist...

I see how to do that, but where can I place a jackstand while the tire is off?

Right where the lower A meets the cross member to the other side's lower A, does this wording make sense??

Jack from the cross-member and place jackstand under the frame rail at the approved lifting points. Or jack at the frame rail and place the jackstand under the cross member, easy

Here's a pic. make sure you use a jacking puck on the points under the rocker panels if you lift at each corner.
