Default Lost all communication help!

Ok, big problem here!
I have no communication with my car at all! Heres what Happens....

I went out to clean and condition my seats and my key fob wasnt working... hmm dead battery? No problem, opened the door by key and the alarm goes off. Put key in and shut alarm off.... well then I notice the lights to my interior stuff aren't lighting up like radio and HVAC. THen the DIC shows reduced engine power, shocks inoperative, low fuel, etc etc. WTF?!?!?! I try to start engine and it cranks, fires, dies.... won't run! WTF! I clear everything and try to check codes and it shows EVERYTHING as No Comm.

Here's what I did prior to and where I messed something up....

Was taking the CD Changer wiring out of the car. I snipped the 3 wires going to the passenger footwell fuse panel from the CD Changer harness. When I do this I hear a fuse blow, no biggie, probably just the radio fuse again. Well I check, sure enough radio fuse is blown, so I switch it and no issues. I put my interior back together, tie up some wiring that runs back to the rear of the car on the passenger side. Then I went back out to condition the seats to find no communication ANYWHERE? WHat gives, any idea what my problem is?

Thanks in advance!
-Jon

He pulled the battery cables for 10 minutes in hopes of resetting the system... nada!

Have you checked all the fuses yet?

I've checked quite a bit, all fuses for the PCM and BCM seem just fine?

I'm slightly lost. Why is the interior apart?

Bottom line, if the battery is good, and you have no communication, then the serial bus is shorted...or damaged. If the seats were removed, it could be damaged wiring from the left seat, exposed wiring in the left door acordian tube, or something damaged by accident in the area you were the wires cutting wires.

Also, if the serial bus is shorted... would that just blow a fuse? If so where is this fuse so I can check it out? Thanks in advance, I GREATLY appreciate it!

Ok. Here is a quickie class 2 isolation. There are two star connectors (as pictured below), and they reside by the BCM (you may have to lift up the BCM to get to them. Find the star connector with 4 wires, an pull the shorting plug(as shown below). This will take the door control modules, and left seat out of the system.

Take a look at the schematic I posted above.....shows how the systems are all connected. The class 2 serial buss allows bidirectional communication between the various systems. It's how the BCM and PCM talk to each other, PCM to IPC, etc. There is a tremendous amount of communication going on, if 1 wire was dedicated for everything, the wire bundles would be huge. Bidirectional communication on the class 2 makes it more simple.......believe it or not.....

Also all my work was in the RHS PASSENGER footwell. I'm checking around for wires that may have shorted but not seeing anything so far.....

Nope, I just put resistors in for that. This all happened when I snipped the 3 wires for my CD changer... I know they were the correct wires because once I snipped them the whole harness pulled out!

Ok. If that's it, then more investigation is required in that area. Do you have any device plugged into the DLC?

Unsure what DLC is? Only accessory item on the car is a radar detector plugged into the cigarette lighter below the HVAC. I investigated there for exposed wires and see nothing. Is there a specific fuse I might be checking out? My fuse puller tool isn't doing a damn so I haven't been able to check all my fuses yet, but if I can pin-point one down to check i'm sure I could get it out.

DLC = Data link connector, under the drivers dash. Some have those plug in modules for windows, etc.
