I would probably try one for that price The fiber tuned cost is $1650 so unless it makes alot more than the FAST 102 priced at $799 shipped it is not worth it IMO.

Very true! I got it dirt cheap, so I figured I would try it out. Im already making crazy power for what I have. Maybe this will help a little!

After the nightmare was over, finding a vacuum leak, I took her out and she runs pretty goood! Its very responsive and feels strong. Im taking the Vette to the dyno on tuesday, so I should have some results after the dyno. Im hoping for some good numbers. Also I was putting on smooth valve covers, and the nightmare began, again. The driver side valve cover doesnt fit, it hits the alternator. I guess its for different LS engines. Now I have to find me some valve covers.

Glad you found the leak Bryan. I thought it may have been a vacuum leak. Did you still have to take the Intake off? Glad to hear it's running good. Can't wait to see the numbers! Sorry to hear those valve covers wouldn't fit. It seems it's always something, lol.

Me too, I had to take it on and off 3 different times. It was terrible, but it feels good and will find out what she makes tomorrow!

Well, the results are as a guy told me here on the forum. I lost power. Went from 705 rwhp 577 ftlbs on 11 lbs to 647 rwhp and 533 ftlbs.on 10.5 lbs. There was no belt slipping or anything. Its disappointing and frustrating. Not sure if its cause its about 95 degrees here, but it was SAE corrected. I have a FAST 90, borrowing from a friend im going to put on next week and dyno it again and compare. If its the same I will keep it, if not Im selling it, or try too. I went from a stock LS6 to this sheet metal intake and now going to compare a FAST 90. Next week I will post the results.

Running that much HP, you need a PORTED FAST 90 with a ported TB and a tune. I'M POSITIVE you would gain HP. I mildly ported my own FAST 90 and on a normally aspirated LS6 made 450 RWHP. You would gain GOBs of power.

I agree with Bill. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the FAST 90, especially if it's ported correctly. It'll easily out perform the LS6 mani, so after the results you got with the fabbed IM, it'll look even better!

I just realized something.... If you did that "Went from 705 rwhp 577 ftlbs on 11 lbs" on a stock LS6 manifold,,,,, WOW,,,,,,,,,,,, a ported FAST would SHOCK you!!

Contact Tony MAMO and see what he has to say about your set up and the FAST Manifolds!

Wow man that is a good drop in hp! I was hoping it would yield you some positive numbers. I wonder if it makes a difference on a NA motor? I feel for you cause you went to so much trouble. It is a very nice masterpiece though. Is Charles going to try it out?

Yea man! We are still in shock my Vette made that much power and its only a P1 SC. Im sure the FAST will out perform, it always seems too. But I will have the test results for anyone that comes across the sheet metal intake. Im hoping, depending on the FAST results, that my friend will sell it to me cheap, Im already upside down with the other intake. Also how do I contact Tony Mamo?

I know it! im very disappointed, but thats how some things go. Charles didnt seem to think it would do better on a NA set-up. So i dont think he is interested in it. After I see what the FAST will do, im going to put it on that auction site,, so if someone is building a show car or truck with a LS in it and doesnt really care if the engine makes peak hp. they can have for a good price. They are or were 1700 new, so I will sell it at a good price. But we will see.

Did you RE TUNE after the intake installation??

IF,,,,the intake is that GOOD, it will effect VE, MAF, AFR etc and if that isn't changed,,,,you could have a POWERHOUSE on your engine and not see it. I will link this post to Tony and see if he will chime in. DON'T CASH IN THE CHIPS just yet. Let Tony chime in and tell you what he thinks. The man works miracles!

Yes my tuner, Charles, retuned it and worked a long time on it trying to get it right. The AF was good, but he didnt wanna lean it out too much cause I have a stock block. He tried different things, I dont know much about tuning, so I leave it to him. He's really good and knows his stuff. I would like to know what Tony has to say on the FAST and my set-up. I think the one I have is just a regular FAST 90.
