C6Z here.

If you plan on lowering or are lowered or if I had to do it over again cuz I am...I'd prolly go with the bilsteins just cause they're designed for a shorter travel.

I have a set of the bisteins, they do not have less travel and will bottom out when you lower the car too low even on the stock bolts. OP read the thread in this link: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...ng-the-c5.html

I AGREE 100% There 100% OEM Bolt in and the best bang for the buck.

Gene Culley has all four new for around $250. Your car will handle and feel significantly better! You will need a crow bar to pry the grin off your face after your first high speed cornering event!

I put on C6Z06 shocks. First I cut the bushings in about 1/2 to get a little extra travel. Works good for me, even lowered.

I have 04 Zo6 work great but cost$. If I needed shocks I would get C6 Z06
