I just put a RPM stage 4 auto transmission in my 2001 when I get on it from dead stop it spins the tires and when it shifts it barks the tires then comes the bogg. If I back off a little bit on the throttle just before it shifts then stomp on it after it shifts it doesn't bogg. I spoke to the people at RPM and agree with them it isn't in the transmission. Do you have any idea why I get the bogg? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom
You need someone who knows C5/C6 automatic transmissions to tune/recalibrate yours.
Be careful in choosing that person. The wrong calibration and it will be a pile of junk!
Use regional FORUM to recommend someone in your area who knows their C5 tranny tuning! Its an art that few conquer successfully!
I can recommend a fantastic tuner that can do your tune if you want to tune it by mailing your PCM for a tune. Let me know if you want to go that route.
