My 2004 Vette has been problem free from day 1. Just recently I've noticed it's cranking much slower than normal and figured that after 6 years of ownership I might be due for a new battery, however, I've also noticed these past few weeks that the digital clock is either 'right on the money' in terms displaying the time OR is off by a mile, e.g., it's 3:29 pm, Local Time, but the Vette says it's 6:12 p.m.
Does anyone have any suggestions or comments on whether these 2 issues are related.
The OP of the thread had posted in the Help section, which is used for Help with the website itself (forum issues, website issues, account issues, etc.) and was moved. It got moved to the C6 section, instead of the C5 section, but was fixed.
Just to clear things up.
To the OP, good luck with your issue. In the future, it's best to post your Corvette specific issues in the Corvette Technical forums (such as the C5 Tech section - if it's pertaining to your C5) as the Help section is not for Corvette Technical questions and will greatly minimize your chances of getting read and answered.
Thanks!

Its the battery. Just go to walmart and get you a new one and you and the car will be very happy. So will your clock and all the memory functions that you mot likely were loosing also.
You're exactly right! The memory functions for the seat have been whacky for a while. I just assumed it was 'middle age' starting to settle in.........thanks for the help.
Make sure you buy an AGM battery and very carefully clean and inspect the connections prior to installing the new battery - save a lot of time later if the problem still comes up

But still no reach-around. When will GM catch up to the imports?
