I am trading exhaust with a forum member. So I lifted the Vette and I noticed a level 2 leak coming from my diff. Level 2 being that its starting to form a drop on the diff itself, but haven't seen anything on the floor yet.
It is a C5 ZO6 diff with upgraded clutch packs and hardened output shaft a nice diff. So should I rebuild it or should I go with a new RPM or such diff.
Clean it off and take her for a spin. Inspect after the drive. It will give you a very good idea where the leak originates from.

It seems odd that it has one of the most common of C5 problems, but has a built rearend. Wouldn't the owner that had the rearend done, fix the all too familiar rear seal leak?
