Lucky, Thank you for all your help. The bcm is seeing the correct reading because the resistor is installed directly to it.

Ok, I guess your not understanding me, or I'm not communicating effectively. Unless you have cut the wires to the lock cylinder, and installed the resistor in the BCM plug, you do not have it isolated. In any case, good luck.

Lucky, are you talking about the wires that read the vats key? If so then yes I have that disconnected at the column also I cut the wires at the bcm and inserted my resistor there.

I'm no genius but sounds like you need to take it to someone who works on Vettes.... the reason I'm not a brain surgeon is because I can't do it!!!

Since you've now installed the resistor directly to the bcm, try doing the security relearn now.
