Vibration over 2500rpms

SO,,,, your OEM damper and OEM Flywheel / flex plate are a part of the balance equation.
When you remove the flywheel or damper, your suppose to MARK the relation to the crank.
IF you install a ZERO balanced flywheel or damper, it may be SIGNIFICANTLY off from the OEM balanced parts that came from GM to make your engine correct.
I JUST installed a SPEC DUEL DISK assy on my 02 ZO6. I took the old fly wheel and the NEW Flywheel to the machine shop and had the machinist balance match the new fly wheel to the old one.
I installed the flywheel on the engine with the drive train disconnected and cranked it up. Ran it up to 6500 rpm’s to check for any abnormal vibrations. There were NONE! THANK GOD!

Pull the pressure plate off the flywheel and see if the vibration is still there. Maybe its the pressure plate like ET STATED BEING CLOCKED WRONG.
Keep us informed on the status.
