C5 no longer displays CORVETTE on start up. What wrong button did I push?

That data is generated inside the IPC. If it were me,, I would check the input voltages (12VDC) with a meter and make SURE its actually the correct voltage, Module Ground, and if all those are good, take the IPC apart and make sure that the solder joints on the display are not defective (colder solder joints)

Do you get ANY dispay on the screen (DIC) ???

Everything else displays, just doesn't read CORVETTE when you start the car as it once did.

Well,,,, I would say thats a ROM issue inside the IPC.

NO,, the massage can not be changed. YOU can on a C6,,
