I have been chacing this sound ever since my cam/head swap and header install. I have the correct push rods in it after many hours of checking and rechecking and a lot of posts and resreach on the fourm, but still have what sounds like a lifter tick on just one cly. I have a TS 224r 581/581 114 and new LS7 lifters.
I have probed around with a stethoscope, and all the sounds coming from the engine sound consistent. There is not one cly that is louder than any of the others at the valve covers or at the exhaust or from the intake all seems good even from the oil pan.
I'm thinking I have a exhaust leak that I can't locate I may have to smoke the exhaust system to find it.
After viewing the video myself, it sounds like an exhaust leak coming from the rear left side on the engine and is more noticable from under the car.

When you did the cam swap, did you have to pull the oil pump for any reason? My reason for asking is the same thing happened to my son on his camaro when he did his cam/head/header swap. It turns out the oil pump o-ring got out of position and was not allowing the pump to pull enough oil through the engine. It sounded like an exhaust leak also. His oil pressure was not the same as it was before the swap either.
Just a couple of thoughts you might want to check.
HA!!!!! I found this out by complete accident but it works well for finding exhaust leaks. Inject some RAW SEAFOAM into the PCV vacuum port. (enough to almost stall the engine). As your injecting it with the enging revving around 2000 rpm,, Turn the key off, and as its coasting down, CONTINUE to inject seafoam. The RAW seafoam will clean your cylinders.
Let it sit for a few hours and then fire her up. Have people available to inspect the left and right side of the engine and under the car. ANY leaks and you will see SMOKE exit!
My leak was the passengers A.I.R flange on the header. LOTS OF SMOKE from the broken gasket!

No, stock pump was not touched as far as I know, and the oil pressure is fine.
