Recently the buttons on the right side of the instrument panel on my 03 Corvette have stopped working so I can no longer change my settings, check mileage, etc. Does anyone have any ideas what may have caused this abd what it will take to fix.

I would try and find someone with a service manual. It could be a bad connection or ground. You will need a schematic to trouble shoot it yourself. I am out of town or I would scan the schematic and send it to you.
Good Luck!!!

Its plugged into the rear of the IP Cluster so either the connection has come apart or more usually is a button is stuck in. Its possible an issue with the BCM is going on but without the ability to pull the codes from the DIC, its hard to know without a Tech2

This problem came up in another thread recently.

The procedure starts with checking comms between the PCM and various computers such as the BCM, the PCM the EBCM etc using a Tech II.

The troubleshooting guide is simple. If the connector between the DIC switch and the car is clean and undamaged then its a straight switch change.

You might check for water on and in the BCM as this could result in lots of issues. Is there anything else not working correctly?
