Default head install help

i recently broke springs on my 2002 z06 i want to upgrade the heads while im at it since the motor has 85k miles and a bolt is broke in the head from a header install. once i take the old heads off will the new heads just bolt back on with new gaskets? they are the same 243 casting. also do i need new lifters and pushrods? i know these are fairly easy answers i just want to make sure i'm on the right path before i start buying everything.

With 85K on the clock, I would definitely replace the lifters and pushrods during a head swap. New gaskets and new head bolts.

If you are sticking with stock lifters, that's all that is available.

Not all 243 heads are the same. Your heads have the lightweight valves. Do the heads you are using for replacement have the same valves?

Bill is right on, you can break a block easy. I have the Texas Speed 228R cam and it is very street able with great power gains.
