As I stated earlier, these bolts are located directly over the lifters so any dirt that goes in the hole will reside on top of the lifter and likely not get flushed out with the oil since the lifter tray will tend to keep it from being flushed. You therefore have to be careful and work very cleanly. Also vacuum out the intake ports thoroughly and if you plan on having the intake off for a while cover up all the holes that can let dirt in the motor.
