Someone was telling me today about a gyro that gets stuck in the BCM if the car sits for a long time. Has anyone heard of this happening and does anyone have more info on this?

Who was telling you that, they guy hugging the commode in your pic?
The BCM does NOT have any such rascals.. There is however,, TWO accelerometers located in the cabin if you have active handling that connect electrically to EBTCM. They are completly electronic and have ZERO mechanical parts.
One is located near the inboard front mounting screw for the passenger’s seat, and the other one is under the stereo head unit mounted to the tunnel.
One of the wires in this picture goes to the yaw sensor, the other goes to my seat heater.
haha this was a friend of a friend I have no comm display to the TCS and I mentioned this in conversation.... he said he had an 01 and the same thing happened. he said he jumped it with 12v and it kicked on and never had a problem again. his explaination was that it will get stuck if the car sits for a long time. I think I zoned out when he said there was a gyro. I was intreagued myself. I posted this because I wanted to confirm there was no magical gyros in my BCM.
