Default Spark Plug and Wire Recommendations...

Looking to do a tune up on the Vette... I've heard the NGK's are good... what about wires???

Do Camaro or TA wires work??? Don't want to pay the corvette tax for no reason!!!!

You will NOT do better than the GM Performance Red wires and the standard GM AC Delco Iridium spark plugs.

There are NO, NADA, ZILCH performance increase in plugs and wires. PERIOD! If yours are old you will see an improvement in idle quality and maybe a little increase in fuel economy

Look for quality wires that fit properly!

Don't forget to clean your MAF, and throttle body and inspect ALL your vacuum lines for damage.

I also bought GM wires, but the LS7 version which have a 90 degree end but I have headers. If you have headers you may want to look into these. Available from the same vendors as mentioned earlier.

I got the newer AC Delco iridium plugs off of Amazon for like $46 shipped. GMPD has the best price on the GMPP wires. Their shipping is ridiculous, but if you get the plugs shipped free from Amazon you come out ahead getting the wires only from GMPD.
