Just an update...Timet has supplied me with the info on their Timetal Exhaust XT. I've just got to determine the thickness I'll need.

Timet only supplies Ti in sheets...which stinks...but I have all the spec information I'll need to track down piping that is basically to spec.

Off to do more homework...

Another update! Excited about this one. I was able to get another Ti exhaust for 150 bucks

I'm headed to the exhaust shop next. Figure we can just hack up both of them and weld away. Pipe should be more or less bent the way we need or we can take the sections out of one we'll need.

If that fails...and the project goes south...I'll just sell both for some Bullets or something that can be hacked the second I get them

I meant to post this awhile ago. For those of you that are curious as to what needs to be done to the piping:

Check the last photo to get an idea.

Just an update:

Had the day off...wasted it...Drove to 3 different places and all of them after inspecting everything said they couldn't do it.

1 of the places said they might be able to but it was gonna take too long so they didn't wanna do it...that was at about 10 AM...they close at 5...**** that place.

I got a couple more leads I'm going to call but it looks bleak...

...I think I'm gonna dump the idea...sad to say.

In the end a full 3 inch system would work out better for what I'd like anyway...might as well move to that now.

I'll be posting up a FS thread very soon.

Unsubscribed.

I believe you can just cut a short piece out of the pipes from right behind the flange and then use that piece to extend the "over axle" part of the pipe. No new piping should be necessary.
